About BoardScore
BoardScore turns an organisation's cyber, AI, and workplace safety readiness into a clear scorecard directors can understand and act on — built in Australia, for Australian and New Zealand boards.
Why we exist
Boards are increasingly accountable for risks that are difficult to see and harder to measure. Cyber exposure, the governance of AI, and workplace safety obligations all land on the board agenda — yet the reporting directors receive is often either too technical to act on or too vague to trust.
BoardScore was built to close that gap. We translate the work technical and operational teams already do into a defensible, comparable scorecard: one a board can read, question, and stand behind. Every position is anchored to evidence and signed off by a person, so the board is governing from a record — not an unverified dashboard.
What we cover
Three readiness domains, governed with the same discipline: identify the material risks, measure against a recognised baseline, and hold evidence behind every position.
Cyber readiness
Measure exposure against recognised baselines such as the Essential Eight and NIST CSF 2.0, and track maturity over time rather than re-litigating it every meeting.
AI governance
Bring structure to how AI is adopted and overseen — what it touches, how it is used, and who is accountable for its outputs — before exposure outpaces oversight.
Workplace safety
Give directors visibility over work health and safety readiness, the positive duty officers carry, and the evidence that the organisation is meeting it.
How BoardScore works
A governed workflow from self-assessment to a board-ready report — with a human in the loop at every step.
Self-assess
Teams capture where the organisation stands against a chosen framework, guided by clear, plain-language positions rather than raw technical jargon.
Review and validate
A governed review workflow routes each position to the right approver. AI grades the supporting evidence and cites its sources, but a person reviews and approves every position.
Benchmark and report
Readiness becomes a scorecard with peer benchmarking and board-ready PDF reports — a record directors can question, act on, and defend.
Built in Australia
BoardScore is Australian-built and Australian-hosted. Your governance data is processed and stored on Australian infrastructure, with tenant isolation ensuring no organisation can access another's data.
